Dear Black Women,
As Black History Month comes to a close. I can not neglect the challenges we still face as African American women. I’m not proposing a pity party but I am recognizing how amazing Black women are. We go through so much physically, mentally, and spiritually and we are expected to uphold so many values.
We strive to take care of our families we fight to be treated the same. We dominate education. We carry your kids. We….need I say more??
We are naturally care takers, leaders, supporters, and hardworkers. We carry his burdens along with ours. We love deeply and unconditionally.
Some of us are business owners, innovators, and specialist. Some of us are hidden figures.
What we all have in common are physical features that make us women. We were made with a purpose. Continue to love yourself and be great at whatever you choose to do. Try hard not to worry about the unknown and cherish what’s in your path today.
Know that things always work out and get better with patience.Trust yourself and don’t limit yourself. The only thing holding you back is you. There is so much you have to offer this world. Don’t worry about the road blocks. God’s got you, Always.
